SUMMARY: In today’s world, who you stand with defines who you are. Today, coming out, appears to be a concept practiced by the Gay and Lesbian communities as articulated in the book “Outing Yourself: How to Come Out as Lesbian or Gay to Your Family, Friends, and Coworkers” by Michelangelo Signorile, 1995. Step 1: Identifying Yourself. But far from being a new concept it is in fact an ancient one practiced by Christians universally; baptism is the ancient act of “coming out” of the world and into His glorious light, an act that the early Christian, as well as many who live under oppressive regimes, paid for with their blood. We at HCF encourage all who put their trust in Jesus Christ to unashamedly and without reservation identify with Him.
