With Obama seemingly running as fast as he can away from gay issues these days it’s interesting to me that Hillary Clinton’s been making headlines advocating for gay rights:
Secretary of State Clinton on Monday called gay rights the “new frontier” in the U.S. push for worldwide democracy and human rights.
“It is at the top of our list,” Clinton said in a major human rights address at Georgetown University.Clinton also called on the African nation of Uganda to drop a proposal that would criminalize same-sex relationships – possibly imposing life imprisonment or the death penalty. “We have expressed our concerns directly, indirectly, and we will continue to do so,” Clinton said.
