0800 – 1400 hour – I moved on. She wasn’t going to find me and hit me up online. I had asked her if she wanted to hang out, she affirmed, stated she would find me through operation awesome. She was being straight polite. I remember that. It’s cool. The weekend approaches.
3:12 – She emails. I jump up from behind my desk and launch into a pantomimed Snoopy happy dance. 
I look at her profile. I don’t trust myself to respond to her email yet…
7:45 – Back from the gym I log onto Operation Awesome and wonder if it was all in my head. Maybe she stands that close to everyone, hips touching, smiling soft. Maybe she looks at everyone out of the corner of her eye when they are talking to someone else. Maybe I’m hyper imaginative.
8:15 – I send her a short email and ask her if she would like to get a cup of coffee sometime soon. At the end of the email I link: A softer world.
If I had magic this would work out perfectly and we would get coffee Saturday night in Occq and check out the open mic night action. I’ve never been to this location, which is a bit risky. Fingers crossed for Saturday night date night.
DC9 tomorrow night with a good friend. Stopping at the tat shop before heading out to hopefully interview and consult an artist. The weekend approaches!
