My name is Irene, I am a single working mom of two beautiful girls. In addition I am a lesbian. I have a wonderful girlfriend who is also a single working mom and has a son. Together we have three terrific kids. I feel very fortunate to have a wonderful life and to be able to offer my three children with a happy and stable home.
This happiness doesn’t come cheap. My GF and I work extra hard to make this happiness happen. And as lesbian moms the issue of parenting becomes that much challenging. We are very dedicated to this life we are creating together thus we put into it what we want to achieve back. So far so good….
This blog is not about being lesbian is about being a parent with challenges and additional challenges (wink). I hope to help women out there who face similar issues simply by having someone to relate to. I plan to blog about my everyday life and that of my friends and families while protecting their identity. So enjoy and let the show begin (my life is truly a reality show, lol).
